Did you know that these pests and diseases caused epidemics, mass migration and even starvation before farmers began using crop protection products. If you didn’t, you’re not alone. The CommonGround Campaign aims to set the record straight by tackling some of the myths that have grown up around crop protection products and raising awareness of the benefits they bring.

The European Crop Protection Association (ECPA) is the pan-European voice of the crop protection industry. Its membership includes both national associations and companies throughout Europe. Crop protection products include herbicides, fungicides and insecticides — essential tools that protect crops from dangerous pests and diseases, make food more affordable to consumers, and enhance biodiversity when used as part of integrated farming.
