What is organic farming?

As opposed to conventional farmers, organic farmers do not use synthetic products such as fertilizers and pesticides. Instead they apply crop rotation, manure, compost, biological pest control, pesticides produced naturally mainly by plants and mechanical cultivation to keep the soil productive and control pests.
